Presidio Theatre’s previous website was built on WordPress in 2019 and had limited functionality — making it difficult for the venue to deliver a user experience that matched the expectations of its audience and provide competitive opportunities for arts engagement relative to other San Francisco arts spaces. The organization contacted DWG as they searched for a digital marketing partner, with Spektrix API integration experience, that could provide a more user-friendly and enhanced website and CMS to better showcase events, streamline the patron purchasing path, and engage patrons more effectively.
In September 2025, DWG launched the new website for San Francisco’s Presidio Theatre Performing Arts Center. The site was built and launched in under two months and the project marks a significant transformation for the historic venue.
Since the launch of the new ARTdynamix® website on September 2, 2025, the Theatre has seen significant growth in audience engagement, ticket sales, memberships and revenue. The organization has experienced an average increase in daily ticket sales, from 18-30 per day in August 2024 (prior to launch) to approximately 125 tickets per day after launch, with no slow days, representing a 300% growth and eliminating the two weekly slow days. Memberships also increased from a total of 280 in a year (prior to launch) to 400 in less than a month post-launch, representing a ≈43% membership growth.
